Jared Goff endured a frustrating 2025 campaign with the Detroit Lions, as the team finished 9–8 and ended up at the bottom of the NFC North standings, missing the playoffs. The disappointing outcome sparked heavy criticism from fans, many of whom called for significant changes within the organization.

Christen Harper reacts to Portugal photoshoot

Goff’s wife, Christen Harper, was one of the featured models in the 2024 edition of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Photographer Ben Watts later looked back on the shoot by posting a collage of Harper’s photos on Instagram. The images were taken across scenic areas of Portugal, including the city of Porto and nearby coastal regions. In his caption, Watts joked that although rain frequently interrupted the shoot, it didn’t stop them from capturing memorable moments.

Harper responded in the comments with a simple three-word reaction: “Fav pics ever.” In the photos, she modeled several different two-piece swimsuits, including dark blue, white, and striped bikini sets, while posing at various picturesque locations.

The Portugal shoot marked Harper’s fourth appearance in the SI Swimsuit issue. Her previous features included shoots in Atlantic City (2021), Barbados (2022), and Dominica (2023). Her Barbados appearance earned her co–Rookie of the Year honors. The Portugal trip was also part of the magazine’s 60th anniversary celebration, where she joined fellow models such as Camille Kostek and Katie Austin. Goff was present during the May 2024 shoot to support his wife, which Harper later described as one of her favorite professional experiences. She is also expected to appear in the 2026 edition of the magazine, scheduled for release in May.

Harper opens up about becoming a mother

Harper and Goff welcomed their first child, a daughter named Romy Isabelle, in July 2025. Speaking with SI Swimsuit, Harper reflected on how motherhood has changed her perspective as she returns to her modeling career.

She explained that the past year had been incredibly transformative for her, noting that pregnancy and becoming a mother gave her a new level of confidence. Harper said that while she once faced many uncertainties about the changes ahead, she now feels far more secure and assured about the path forward.

As Harper continues building her modeling career, Goff will turn his attention to preparing for the upcoming NFL season with Detroit.
