Taylor Swift showed up to cheer for her fiancé Travis Kelce as the Kansas City Chiefs faced off against the Detroit Lions at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 12.
The pop superstar watched the game from a suite alongside Kelce’s parents, Donna and Ed Kelce, as well as WNBA standout Caitlin Clark.
Her appearance marked the first time this season that Swift has been shown during a Chiefs game broadcast.
Taylor Swift made her suite return!
The newly engaged 35-year-old star was spotted supporting Travis Kelce with his parents, Donna and Ed Kelce, as the Chiefs hosted the Detroit Lions at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 12.
Joining them in the box was WNBA sensation Caitlin Clark, a devoted Kansas City Chiefs supporter.
During the first half, NBC’s Sunday Night Football broadcast cut to the suite, showing Swift happily hugging her soon-to-be father-in-law.
This game marked Swift’s first on-camera appearance at a Chiefs matchup this season. PEOPLE previously confirmed she attended the Sept. 28 home game against the Baltimore Ravens and another two weeks earlier versus the Philadelphia Eagles, though she wasn’t featured on the broadcast.
Now, the Chiefs are aiming to get back on track after dropping a game to the Jacksonville Jaguars six days earlier on Oct. 6.
Kansas City secured its first win of the year against the New York Giants the previous week, following early-season losses to the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 1 and the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 2.
The team opened the season in Brazil, though neither Swift nor Kelce’s family were spotted there.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨,” Swift captioned an Instagram post featuring photos from their flower-filled garden proposal.
The post was set to her song “So High School,” which appears to reflect her romance with Kelce.
A source recently told PEOPLE that the pair intends to keep their wedding plans intimate.
“It will definitely be private, not a huge production,” the insider said. “They both have tight-knit circles of friends and value their privacy.”
