– 1. The Journey to BYU: Enoch originally committed to Boise State as a walk-on in 2018 but opted not to enroll. Instead, he landed with the Utah State Aggies, where he played for one season before transferring to BYU in 2022. As a two-star prospect with a 76 grade from 247 Sports, Nawahine has proven his talent and dedication on the field.
– 2. A Massive TD Against SMU: Last year, Nawahine scored a crucial touchdown against SMU, helping BYU secure an 18-15 road victory. With the Cougars facing fourth-and-1 from the SMU 11, Nawahine took it to the house, showcasing his skills and contributing to the team’s win.
– 3. Returned Missionary and Linguist: Nawahine served a two-year missionary service for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Zambia Lusaka mission from 2020 to 2022.
