Speaking on his podcast, St. Brown praised Detroit’s draft strategy, highlighting how the team addressed key roster needs while adding toughness on both sides of the ball.

St. Brown Praises First-Round Pick Blake Miller

St. Brown spoke highly of the Lions’ first-round selection, offensive tackle Blake Miller, emphasizing the physical style he brings to the offensive line.

“I feel like Blake Miller is exactly what we needed—a tackle that has that mean streak in him,” St. Brown said, via Pride of Detroit. “I saw some highlights of him putting defenders on their backs and finishing plays.”

The wide receiver believes Miller’s aggressive playing style could make an immediate impact in Detroit’s offensive front.

St. Brown also pointed to the potential pairing of Miller with All-Pro right tackle Penei Sewell as a major strength for the Lions moving forward.

According to St. Brown, the duo could form a dominant tackle combination that gives Detroit a powerful presence on both edges of the offensive line.

Lions Add Defensive Help in the Draft

While the offensive line addition stood out, St. Brown also expressed excitement about Detroit strengthening its defense.

The Lions selected edge rusher Derrick Moore and linebacker Jimmy Rolder, adding young talent and speed to the defensive front.

Law joins a receiver group that already includes St. Brown, deep-threat wideout Jameson Williams, and developing target Isaac TeSlaa.
