Jahmyr Gibbs Spends Bye Week Courtside With Nicole Anderson At Pistons-Celtics Clash

Jahmyr Gibbs is making the most of his bye week this season, recently spotted attending the Pistons vs. Celtics game. The Lions running back enjoyed courtside seats alongside his girlfriend, Nicole Anderson, as the two watched the thrilling matchup unfold.

The camera caught Gibbs on the jumbotron, prompting him to wave while Anderson appeared slightly shy seeing themselves on the big screen. With the Lions off this week, Gibbs and his teammates have time to rest and recover before their next contest. He’s fresh off a strong showing against Tampa Bay and will aim to carry that same energy into their upcoming games.

Gibbs’ Pistons appearance came shortly after Anderson posted photos from her recent trip to New York City. During her visit, she even met singer Ciara while promoting the True Religion jeans brand as part of a marketing campaign.

During the Pistons game, Gibbs was interviewed courtside in the second quarter and asked about playing for Detroit. He said both the Pistons and Lions “fight really hard” and “never quit,” adding that they “always find a way to come back.” His words reflected both Detroit teams’ shared spirit of resilience and determination.

Jahmyr Gibbs’ Lions Eye Edge Rusher Ahead Of Trade Deadline

Meanwhile, Gibbs may soon welcome a new teammate, as reports suggest the Lions are seeking an edge rusher before the trade deadline. Several options are being considered, but Miami Dolphins pass rusher Jaelan Phillips appears to be the leading candidate.

Though Phillips’ numbers aren’t eye-popping, his style and attitude fit Detroit’s culture well, and he’d complement Aidan Hutchinson effectively. The Lions also showed interest in Bengals defender Trey Hendrickson, but his recent hip injury has likely ended his season. With limited external options, Detroit may instead focus on developing internal depth to strengthen Hutchinson’s support and boost their defensive performance moving forward.
