Devonte Wyatt grabs attention with brief three-word message after his season-ending injury

The Green Bay Packers continued their strong run with a third straight victory, topping the Detroit Lions 31–24 on Thanksgiving to improve to 8–3–1 in the 2025 season. But the win came with a major setback for their defense.

Late in the game, defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt went down with a severe ankle injury and had to be taken off the field on a cart. Tests later confirmed that he had suffered a fractured ankle, an injury significant enough to likely sideline him for the remainder of the season given how late in the year it occurred.

Head coach Matt LaFleur didn’t sugarcoat the situation after the game, telling reporters that the news on Wyatt “doesn’t look good” and describing the loss as a big blow to both the team and the defensive unit.

Despite the grim outlook, Wyatt made it clear he isn’t letting the setback dampen his spirits. In a brief message posted on social media, the young defender expressed optimism and a determination to return to action as soon as he can.
