Micah Parsons Playfully Chides Dak Prescott for Overlooking Gift After New Contract

Dallas Cowboys fans couldn’t have asked for a better start to the season.

Despite being underdogs for their game in Cleveland, the Cowboys defeated the Browns by two touchdowns on their home turf.

The final score might have been even more lopsided if the Browns hadn’t scored a late, meaningless touchdown in the fourth quarter.

Dak Prescott had a solid first half, leading multiple scoring drives to give Dallas a comfortable 20-3 lead at halftime.

Although Prescott’s performance cooled in the second half, he finished with 179 passing yards and one touchdown.

He was particularly effective under pressure, completing 5-of-8 attempts, including a perfectly placed touchdown pass to Brandin Cooks.

With the Cowboys’ defense dominating, Prescott didn’t need to carry the team on his own.

After the game, Prescott talked about his new record-setting contract, expressing relief that the deal was finalized.

He shared that Ezekiel Elliott was the first person he hugged after the agreement and hinted that he might reward his teammates with gifts.

On Sunday, Prescott took several wrist measurements, but Micah Parsons, who wasn’t included, jokingly expressed his disappointment on social media.

Despite the jest, Parsons is genuinely thrilled for Prescott.

He praised Prescott’s hard work and dedication, stating that the quarterback deserved every bit of his contract.

Parsons, who dominated the game with nine pressures, a sack, and a deflected pass leading to an interception, has certainly earned any potential gift from Prescott.

As one of the standout performers, Parsons is likely to be among the first to receive a celebratory gift from Prescott.
