Amon St Brown Fire Up Lions Fans With Latest Comments

Despite the Detroit Lions missing the NFL postseason for the first time since 2023, wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown delivered another elite campaign in 2025.

St. Brown recorded 117 receptions for 1,401 yards and 11 touchdowns across 17 games, ranking fifth among all NFL receivers in both catches and total yardage. His production accounted for 37.2 percent of Detroit’s total passing yards, highlighting his central role in the Lions’ offense.

Although Detroit was forced to watch the playoffs from home, St. Brown is already focused on what lies ahead.

“I think we can be real dangerous,” St. Brown said during a visit to Detroit’s Durfee Elementary-Middle School. “Whether it’s Isaac, Kalif [Raymond], or Dominic [Lovett], I feel like we’ve got a really good receiver room. We believe we can be the best in the league, and that’s something we’ll be striving for next year.”

St. Brown and Jameson Williams finished as the only NFL wide receiver duo to rank inside the top 10 in receiving yards, giving Lions fans confidence the offense can take another step forward in 2026.

Isaac TeSlaa Looks to Build on Breakout Rookie Season

Wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa also made a major impact in his first NFL season, finishing tied for second on the team in receiving touchdowns with six.

TeSlaa reflected on his growth following the season:

“I remember coming in and being really nervous for camp,” TeSlaa said. “As the season went on, my confidence grew, and I felt more comfortable. That allowed me to play better and trust myself more out there.”

His development gives Detroit another reliable scoring option alongside St. Brown and Williams.

Jameson Williams Challenges TeSlaa to Raise His Game in 2026

After watching TeSlaa’s rapid growth, Jameson Williams believes the rookie can become even more dangerous next season.

“It adds more to what we already have,” Williams said. “Now defenses have to watch out for another playmaker. When he makes plays, it opens things up for everybody else.”

Williams also praised TeSlaa’s ability to finish drives:

“Scoring touchdowns is huge. It doesn’t matter how many yards you have if you’re getting in the end zone and helping the team win. He had a great season.”

Lions Receiver Room Poised for 2026 Breakout

With Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams, and Isaac TeSlaa leading the group, the Lions’ wide receiver corps is shaping up to be one of the most dangerous units in the NFL heading into the 2026 season.

St. Brown’s confidence, TeSlaa’s continued growth, and Williams’ explosive playmaking ability give Detroit a strong foundation for a potential return to playoff contention.
