With the Lions still looking to strengthen their defensive line rotation, here are three UFL players who could make sense as potential additions.

EDGE Cam Gill

Cam Gill is already a known name for NFL fans, and he is currently turning heads in the UFL.

The former NFL edge rusher is leading the UFL in sacks and positioning himself for another shot at an NFL roster. His production this spring has reinforced his reputation as a disruptive pass rusher with energy and versatility.

Gill also brings strong special teams value—an important trait for head coach Dan Campbell and general manager Brad Holmes when evaluating depth players. His ability to contribute in multiple phases makes him a logical candidate for a roster spot.

Even though Detroit has improved its edge rush group this offseason, adding a productive rotational player like Gill would provide valuable insurance and depth.

EDGE Keshawn Banks

If the Lions are targeting upside, Keshawn Banks stands out as a developmental pass rusher worth monitoring.

IDL Devonnsha Maxwell

On the interior defensive line, Devonnsha Maxwell has emerged as one of the UFL’s most reliable run defenders.

According to Pro Football Focus, Maxwell has earned strong grades for his ability to stop the run, making him one of the league’s top interior defensive linemen this season. His strength at the point of attack could translate well into a rotational NFL role.

Maxwell also has previous NFL experience, including time with the Cincinnati Bengals, which gives him a foundation to compete at the next level.
