After a year of marriage, Darren Waller and Kelsey Plum are divorcing.

After getting married on March 4, 2023, the former couple filed for divorce in April 2024 without ever revealing their connection to the world.

Over the years, Waller and Plum did not disclose their relationship, despite attending some of the same occasions. Since 2021, the tight end for the New York Giants has attended Plum’s WNBA games. Additionally, they attended a number of team and athletic activities for their individual Las Vegas teams (Waller was a member of the Las Vegas Raiders till March 2023).

“The Vegas vibe has been unbelievable,” Plum said of Sin City, where they were both stationed, to PEOPLE in December 2022. “I had no idea the Las Vegas Aces would have such an influence on our town. Plum began her basketball career in high school, where she posted nearly 20 points per game. She later committed to the University of Washington, where she was named captain of her team. As of 2023, Plum holds the most career points for a woman at the college level. She also was a member of Team USA’s U19 Team, which won a gold medal at the Pan American Games.
