NFL Star Maxx Crosby Scoops Up a Baller-Worthy Las Vegas Estate
The Raiders defensive end paid $5.6 million for a sprawling mansion boasting glitzy amenities ranging from an indoor basketball court to a resort-style pool and spa.
Equipped with a four-year, $94 million contract extension that will yield a healthy $19 million base salary in 2024, three-time Pro Bowler Maxx Crosby has chosen to allocate a portion of those funds toward purchasing a stylish Las Vegas home in the guard-gated Mountain Trails enclave of Summerlin, for slightly over $5.6 million. The deal was initially reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Fans of the Las Vegas Raiders know Madd Maxx as the NFL’s fourth highest-paid defensive end. He ended up getting a very decent bargain on the contemporary digs, which local dentist Bill Dickerson had advertised for about $13 million back in the winter of 2020. According to records, Dickerson paid $2.8 million for the house in 2003. Previous rumors claim that he then bought the lot next door, combined the two properties, and built a second building that included an opulent indoor basketball court with an upstairs viewing gallery that featured a kitchenette, a fireside lounge, and views of the surrounding valley.
As for the Silver-and-Black pass rusher’s new 1.2-acre spread, which was built in 2002, the place features seven bedrooms and 12 baths in a little more than 20,500 square feet of two-level living space adorned throughout with marble floors, high ceilings and soaring walls of glass. In addition to the basketball court, other standout amenities include a movie theater, wine cellar, billiards room and gym.
