Second-year Cowboys wide receiver in Dallas: “I’m Ready to Rock”

As he begins his second season with the Dallas Cowboys, Brandin Cooks has lofty goals for the upcoming campaign.

HIGHLIGHTS

  •  Cooks aims for a better 2024-25 season after a disappointing performance in 2023-24.
  •  Cooks caught 54 passes for 657 yards, and eight touchdowns in his first season with the Cowboys.
  •  The Cowboys are the fifth team Cooks has been on since entering the NFL in 2014.

According to Nick Harris of the Dallas Cowboys official website, Brandin Cooks, who was selected with the 20th overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, is starting his second season with the team and is expecting to improve on his 2023–24 campaign in 2024–25.

Entering his second season with the Cowboys, Cooks is aware that he will need to pick up some slack in order for the offense to continue to succeed after Dallas lost several important offensive players in the summer, including Tyron Smith and Tony Pollard. So, what is Cooks’ mindset going into the 2024–25 campaign?

Since joining the NFL in 2014, Cooks has played for five different teams, including the Cowboys. He was a player for the Houston Texans, Los Angeles Rams, New England Patriots, and New Orleans Saints in the past.
