LeBron James Dazzles in Newly Released Dunk Contest Footage

One of the biggest knocks on LeBron James in his legendary NBA career is the fact that he never participated in a Slam Dunk Contest at NBA All-Star Weekend.

Some of the greats of the game, like Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant, among others, have participated back during their prime, but LeBron always chose to sit it out, which likely contributed to the demise of the event over the past decade.

That doesn’t mean that LeBron can’t throw down when he wants to, though.

Recently, some footage was released online of King James going through a dunk contest with Indiana Pacers forward Obi Toppin after a workout. It’s safe to say that this would be fascinating to watch at All-Star weekend.
