The halftime performer for the 2024 Thanksgiving Day game hosted by the Detroit Lions has just been revealed.
The music artist, nominated for five Grammy Awards, is set to perform at Ford Field.
Shaboozey will take the stage at halftime during the game between the Lions and the Chicago Bears on Thursday, November 28, with kickoff at 12:30 p.m.
Recently, he opened for Jelly Roll at Little Caesars Arena and has received five Grammy nominations for 2025, including Best New Artist and Song of the Year for “A Bar Song (Tipsy).”
In addition to those nominations, Shaboozey is also recognized in categories for Best Remixed Recording, Best Country Solo Performance, and Best Country Song.
With momentum on their side, the Thanksgiving Halftime, powered by Verizon, will feature the Grammy-nominated artist.
The Lions, currently leading the NFC with a 7-1 record, face the 6-3 Texans tonight in Houston for Sunday Night Football, with kickoff just after 8:00 p.m.
Next Sunday, the Lions are back home to face the Jacksonville Jaguars at 1:00 p.m., followed by a road game against the Indianapolis Colts at 1:00 p.m. the following Sunday, leading up to Thanksgiving.
