Jack White Surprises Fans by Bringing Eminem Onstage During Lions’ Thanksgiving Halftime Performance

The Detroit Lions hosted the Green Bay Packers for their Thanksgiving matchup, and hometown music icon Jack White took over the halftime stage. White opened with “That’s How I’m Feeling,” a track from his recent solo project No Name, before shifting into the De Stijl classic “Hello Operator.”

Midway through the song, Detroit got an unexpected jolt: Eminem appeared and jumped straight into a live rendition of “’Till I Collapse,” rapping over White’s performance. After Em exited, White capped off the set with a roaring version of “Seven Nation Army,” played on a custom guitar styled to match one of the Lions’ alternate helmet designs. A perfect Motor City moment.

This halftime show marked the first produced under Eminem’s new multi-year collaboration with the Lions, and he reportedly helped shape the entire presentation. Clips of the performance — along with the full set — are available to watch below.
