Daniel Carlson divorce his wife Katherine Barker due to…
Daniel Carlson was 8-for-8 from 20-29 yards, 5-for-6 from 30-39 yards, and 6-for-10 from 40-49 yards in 16 games with the Raiders. Putting himself in the “please make it” category, the 25-year-old kicker still has space for development after missing his two field goals from 50-59 yards in 2019. After making just 19 of 26 field goals in 2019, Carlson is hoping to improve his kicking numbers this year.
Carlson is an asset to the Raiders and is ranked in the top 5 kickers in the league at the age of 25. Daniel was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the 5th round of the 2018 draft. For a kicker, that’s like the 1st round. then Carlson went on to beat veteran kicker Kai Forbath for a spot on the 53-man roster.
He converted all three extra-point kicks and a field goal in his NFL debut against the San Francisco 49ers. Unfortunately his tenure with Minnesota didn’t take long as he was released on September 16, 2018, a day after missing three key field goal attempts in a game against the Green Bay Packers.
Daniel Carlson Plays For The Raiders
After Mike Nugent was sidelined for the 2018 season, the Raiders were looking for a new kicker. After Carlson’s college evaluation, Coach Rich Bisaccia knew he wanted him right away.
Daniel was extended an opportunity to join the team. Remarkably, he declined the Raiders offer, stating that he needed more time to regain his technique and confidence. When he was ready a month later, the Raiders were still interested in him.
In a 42-28 defeat to the Indianapolis Colts, Carlson recorded four extra point conversions in his Raiders debut. Carlson finished with two extra points and three field goal conversions in Week No. 11. He concluded his incredible effort against the Arizona Cardinals with a 35-yard game-winning field goal.
