Brandon Aiyuk says he wants to stay with the 49ers.

Brandon Aiyuk, an All-Pro receiver, has been a major issue in the NFL recently. It all stems from his ongoing contract negotiations with the San Francisco 49ers for an extension. There is no telling how this will end for Aiyuk and the 49ers.

But one thing is certain: Aiyuk will play for the 49ers in 2024, just the way he wants it. On Friday, Aiyuk was approached by TMZ Sports at the airport in Los Angeles and asked whether he wanted to stay with the 49ers. His response was straightforward.

“For sure,” Aiyuk told TMZ at the airport. “For sure!” Is that right? Is everything good? Not necessarily. There is no indication that Aiyuk and the 49ers are close to agreeing on a contract. But, at the very least, he stated that the 49ers are where he wants to be. Aiyuk only wants them to show him how much he is appreciated in his new contract.

It’s normal for all gamers to want it. It’s a business, after all. According to Aiyuk, part of that business is to use the media to gain influence. On the Pivot Podcast, Aiyuk discussed his contract extension. That is how he first envisions himself with the 49ers this season.

“If I had to guess, probably a Niners uniform,” Aiyuk remarked when asked which jersey he’ll be wearing this season. “Probably a Niners uniform; if not, probably a Washington Commander uniform.

“If not a Washington Commanders uniform, then most likely a Steelers uniform.” This arrangement between the 49ers and Aiyuk resembles an hourglass. Everything is moving so slowly, with facts gradually pouring down for everyone to discuss. But the actual benchmark will occur on July 26, when the 49ers start up training camp.
