The Lions are adding another experienced defensive player.
According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Media, defensive lineman Jonah Williams is joining Detroit’s 53-man roster from the Rams’ practice squad.
Williams, 29, has played in seven games for Los Angeles and Minnesota in 2024, recording three total tackles this season.
Over 48 career games with 22 starts for the Rams and Vikings, he has accumulated 80 total tackles and 2.5 sacks.
Williams becomes the second player Detroit has signed from a practice squad on Friday, following the reported addition of Kwon Alexander.
