Taylor Decker’s availability for the Detroit Lions’ game against the Green Bay Packers will be a last-minute decision.

Taylor Decker’s injured knee is improving, but Detroit Lions coach Dan Campbell stated that the left tackle’s availability for Thursday’s game against the Green Bay Packers remains uncertain.

“I still think he’s day-to-day,” Campbell remarked. “It’ll likely come down to the wire with him, whether he can play or not this week. He’s definitely getting better.”

Dan Skipper, who has been playing through a rib injury since early October, started at left tackle in the Bears game. However, Campbell has expressed a preference for shifting Penei Sewell to left tackle when Decker is unavailable, as long as Sewell has had a week of practice at the position.

The Lions had three walk-throughs with no full practice between the Colts and Bears games. They held another walk-through on Sunday and will resume full practice on Monday.

“Knowing we might not have Decker, I think that’s probably the direction we’d go (with Sewell at left tackle),” Campbell said, following Decker’s absence in the Nov. 10 win over the Houston Texans due to an injury sustained earlier in the week.
